The National anthem of Azerbaijan is “Azerbaijan Marsi” which means in English “March of Azerbaijan”.
Azerbaijan’s anthem lyrics were written by Ahmed JAVAD and the music was written by Uzeyir HAJIBEYOV.
Adopted 1992; Although Originally Written In 1919 During A Brief Period Of Independence, “Azerbaijan Marsi” Did Not Become The Official Anthem Until After The Dissolution Of The Soviet Union.
