The National anthem of Algeria is “Kassaman” which means in English “We Pledge”.

Algeria’s anthem lyrics were written by Mufdi ZAKARIAH and the music was written by Mohamed FAWZI.

Adopted 1962; ZAKARIAH Wrote “Kassaman” As A Poem While Imprisoned In Algiers By French Colonial Forces.
