Answer

The National anthem of Cuba is “La Bayamesa” which means in English “The Bayamo Song”.
Cuba’s anthem lyrics were written by Pedro FIGUEREDO and the music was written by Pedro FIGUEREDO.
Adopted 1940; Pedro FIGUEREDO First Performed “La Bayamesa” In 1868 During The Ten Years War Against The Spanish; A Leading Figure In The Uprising, FIGUEREDO Was Captured In 1870 And Executed By A Firing Squad; Just Prior To The Fusillade He Is Reputed To Have Shouted, “Morir Por La Patria Es Vivir” (To Die For The Country Is To Live), A Line From The Anthem.

Cuban anthem lyrics (English translation)
First stanza
Run to battle, men of Bayamo!
The motherland looks proudly to you;
Do not fear a glorious death,
Because to die for the motherland is to live.

Second stanza
To live in chains it’s to live
Mired in shame and disgrace,
From the bugle hear the sound;
Run, brave ones, to battle!

Note: Originally the song had six stanzas. The last four stanzas were excluded in 1902.
