Meaning of Tumors of the diaphragm
The diaphragm is a sheet of internal skeletal muscle that extends across the bottom of the thoracic cavity. It is the muscle that allows air to flow in and out of your lungs by decreasing pressure in the lungs and helping the rib cage expand when you inhale. Tumors can develop in the diaphragm, which can be malignant (cancerous) or benign (non-cancerous). These tumors may originate in the diaphragm or spread from elsewhere. - See link
